There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
Recently I have been thinking about time… Importantly what happens over time and in particularly how over time we mature and move on…It came to me the other day that we can out grow our friends… They can be so very close to us for so long in life, but then there comes a time where it’s just not that same… For some of us we really want to hold onto those friendships so we keep putting in effort and time to try to make this work. But there comes a point where we are to realise that friends are for a time. We all go through different things in life that will mature us and develop us in a certain way, but our friends may develop and mature in a different direction. It can be hard to accept that it’s time to move on, but I guess we just have to keep in mind that there is a time for everything….
A few years back this was being sent around, I think it displays very well the journey that we will encounter with other people.

Despite the sometimes transient nature of friendships, we can always rely on Jesus to always be there for us.
